"Gala's
12: An Interdimensional Journey" by Bob Gunn From California
to Colorado and Peru, from there and then to here and now, we are
taken on an incredible odyssey of wonder and self-discovery. The two
stories that overlap in "Gala's 12: An Interdimensional Journey" by
Bob Gunn reflect the dual nature of reality and must be interpreted
by the reader depending on their own experiences, beliefs, imagination,
and level of awareness. "Gala's 12" is an interactive story. That
is, the main characters interact with you, the reader, and you become
at least indirectly involved. The title, "Gala's 12", refers to twelve
proposals put forth from another dimension as an effort to reveal
more of what's really going on in our universe. The narrative is not
as straightforward as it may initially appear. Worlds and realities
intermix, questions are raised, and answers sought. And yet "Gala's
12" is most definitely an incredible "story" in its own right. From
the author's perspective, this is indeed a true story. Whatever your
assessment of this book is, or becomes, the "Twelve Propositions,"
around which it all revolves are an essential guideline for both surviving
and evolving in this new millennium.

"Grandpa
and the Pirate" by Rick Farren
is a story of a ten year old boy, Dickey Denton, and his grandfather,
who embark on a fishing trip. During a storm, they are forced to beach
their boat on a deserted island, where Dickey learns a number of valuable
lessons about life and survival.
Grandpa teaches Dickey how to build a shelter and make a fire to keep
warm. To calm Dickey's fears, he tells a story of how the island got
its name. The exciting tale is about an English pirate and his ship,
"The Lucky Lady," that was lost at sea.
Dickey listens to how the pirate still walks the island at night searching
for his lost crew, while helping others who may be lost or in need.
His own fear mixed with his vivid imagination serve as an embellishment
to the real adventure he and his Grandpa are experiencing during the
dangerous storm.
As he falls into a fitful sleep, Dickey weaves a wondrous dream with
images from his Grandpa's storytelling. Miraculously, the next morming
they are rescued. But only Dickey knows the truth of how it came to
be.

the Caterpillar Got Its Wings", by Jana Garnett is a
story that has a literal and figurative message. The literal story
of how caterpillars become butterflies serves as a tool to facilitate
dialogue about feelings between parent/teacher and child/student.
